Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association is pleased to extend an invitation to your team to participate in our Colorado Cup Youth Hockey Tournament to be held in scenic Colorado Springs, Colorado. There will be 13 divisions represented in the tournament. If you have never been to Colorado Springs, expect to be pleasantly surprised by a multitude of things to see and do while here, including the Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, and more. We look forward to a superb tournament filled with great teams... like yours!
Applications will be posted on this site as soon as possible, but not later than July 31, 2012. Please check back often to see if it is available. Also, hotel options for the tournament will be posted no later than September 1, 2012. We recommend making hotel arrangements as soon as possible once acceptance into the tournament has been received.
Applications should be submitted as soon as possible, and will NOT be accepted after November 20, 2012. Some age divisions fill up very quickly and we have to form a waiting list. We don’t want your team to be in that position, so if you want to attend, please get the information into us as soon as possible. Registrations received prior to September 18, 2012, will also receive a $100 discount. Placement is made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Application should be made by submitting a registration form and the entry fee. Teams will be notified of their acceptance into the tournament as soon as possible after the receipt of both the application AND payment, but not later than November 20, 2012.
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: If registration and payment are received by the Tournament Director on or before September 18, 2012, the team will receive a $100 discount.
Full payment will be returned if the team is not accepted into the tournament. The fee covers team registration as well as spectator admission. There will not be a separate admission fee charged at the door. The fee is non-refundable once your team has been accepted into the tournament.
Teams selected to play are required to stay at official Colorado Cup sponsored hotels. Failure to do so will result in the team not being allowed to play. The Colorado Cup Hotel Log must be completed and submitted to the tournament director prior to the first game of the tournament.
All entries must be received no later than November 20, 2012. Your entry will not be valid until your check is received. This year's entry fee is $1,175 (U.S. dollars) per team for Squirt and Peewee teams and $1,275 for Bantam and Midget teams, due with application.
